The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Divine Kwadwo Asiedu, for Papaye Fast Food-Haatso branch has said it emphatically that they are going to use local rice in which series of tests are done to choose which one is best for their standard.
Mr. Divine Kwadwo Asiedu assured that they will continue to purchase locally manufactured rice to make the agricultural sector one of the most viable, major driving forces of Ghana’s economic development.
This came to light on Friday at the opening ceremony of their new Papaye fast food – Haatso branch which is the seventh branch.
Mr. Divine Kwadwo Asiedu in an interview with mybrytfmonline encouraged Ghanaians to patronize locally produced rice for economic growth.
He explains that such a move will boost farming for food security.
The Deputy Greater Accra Regional Minister Hon. Elizabeth Sackey who graced the occasion also encourage the management of PAPAYE Fast food to use the local rice because it’s healthy and it will help them boost their sales.
She also advised all Ghanaians especially food vendors to purchase the local rice because it has been polished very well which will help them get more profit.
