The African Centre for Parliamentary Affairs(ACEPA) has organized a one-day workshop on Inclusive Legislatures for Gender Responsive Policies for the departments under the Public Affairs subdivision.
The workshop is focused on citizens’ engagement in the work of Parliament.
The Executive Director of ACEPA, Dr Rashid Draman, stressed the need for staff of the subdivision to bridge the gap between citizens and Parliament for effective parliamentary democratic development.
The National Parliamentary Advisor and team manager of ILGRP, Dr Gifty Adika made a presentation on formulating gender responsive policies.
The training was attended by the Deputy Clerk in Charge of Information Management Services, Dr Gloria Sarku Kumawu.
