Former Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Innusah Fuseini, has stated categorically that parliament hasn’t been dissolved but rather adjourned.
He made the notion when educating the public on the ongoing brouhaha in Parliament since last week.
In an interview with Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney on 23 October, 2024 , Hon. Fuseini emphasized the fact that, parliament is still in session, retaining its authority but just that they don’t sit to work.
He added that when Parliament is dissolved, then there will no be democracy as a country.
“The misunderstanding is coming from the ruling, now, I think the Speaker has to address parliament without delay to resolve confusion about who is majority and minority in parliament.
The best approach for the speaker to use now in order to avoid confusion is to attend parliament any day without a date”.
