The Member of Parliament for Dormaa East, Paul Twum-Barimah has asked Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin to recall lawmakers from the break to attend to the crisis occasioned by the spillage of the Akosombo and Kpong Dams.
The flooding has so far displaced over 26,000 residents in parts of the Eastern and Volta regions with no end in sight.
Parliament is expected to resume sitting on the 31st of this month.
