The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Andrew Asiamah Amoako, has interacted with students of Kwapia R/C Basic School, Akrokerri in the Ashanti Region, as part of their educational visit to Parliament.
As an alumnus, the Second Deputy Speaker, and a Member of Parliament (MP) for Fomena, encouraged the students to take advantage of the same educational opportunities he benefited from about forty (40) years ago and become successful to impact society positively in diverse disciplines.
The students were given insights into how Parliament conducts its business and had the opportunity to witness parliamentary proceedings.
In appreciation, the Head Teacher, Mr. Samuel Ansah, presented a citation to honour Hon. Amoako Asiamah, acknowledging his commendable efforts in advancing the development of Kwapia R/C Basic School.
