Rwandan President first son, 2nd Lieutenant Ian Kagame seems to have taken over the security architecture of the presidency.
This comes into light when his son, who has been enrolled into the Rwandan Defense Force Presidential Guard appeared for the first time on Sunday guarding his father at a National Prayer Breakfast in Kigali.
The Presidential Guard is an elite unit that provides security for President Paul Kagame and Rwanda’s first family.
Meanwhile Government is yet to release an official statement on the matter which has attracted many public debate.
