A Pedestrian walking along the Broadcasting – Toll Booth to Kasoa highway including an Uber Driver are currently in a critical condition after a container fell off a trailer on them.
According to report, the victims are currently receiving treatment at the Weija government hospital after a long trailer with registration number GN 6454 – N carrying two containers crashed and fell on them.
Information gathered after visiting the scene revealed that the trailer carrying the containers coming from Accra heading towards Kasoa failed his break, and as a result, crushed the pedestrian to death leaving half of his body.
Aboagye Godfred, an eye witness explained this to Bryt Fm correspondent, Eric Owusu Amponsah.
According to him, they both obtained serious injury and hope they get better soon.
Drivers who often use the road appealed to the authorities to take urgent steps to fix the multiple pot holes on the road which keeps causing accidents.
