Member of Parliament for Asene-Manso-Akroso Constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the Eastern Region, Honourable George Kwame Aboagye has donated items worth about ¢100,000.00 to 350 Men and women above seventy years in his Constituency.
The items include Bags of Rice, boxes of Cooking Oil and Assorted Cloths and each of the beneficiaries went home with 5kg of Rice, a bottle of Oil and half piece of cloth as Christmas gift from the Member of Parliament.
Presenting the items, Honourable George Kwame Aboagye, popularly known as Oluwa who is three years old in Parliament said the donation forms part of his social responsibilities and said he has been doing this for the past ten years.
The Legislature said the kind gesture will continue and expanded to the needy and urged his constituents to support him and pray for him to always think of the people to put a smile on others’ faces.
