The Akuse District Police Headquarters in the Eastern Region has been ripped off by a rainstorm that occurred Saturday, March 14, 2020.
The incident has displaced Police officers at the Police station including the District Police Commander.
Dockets and other vital documents are reportedly drenched by the rain.
The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Director of National Disaster Management Organization, Zakaria Abdul Kadir told mybrytfmonline.com that, the situation is devastating hence urgent support needed to re-roof the building to enable the Police officers to resume normal work.
He hastened to add that, the Eastern Regional Director of NADMO, Kwame Appiah Kodua, has dispatched a team from region to the scene for assessment to facilitate relief support.
