
The Inauguration Ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang was held on Tuesday, January 7 at the Black Star square.

The ceremony was attended by 21 Heads of states and many other dignitaries from Africa and the word at large.

Among the African leaders who attended Mahama’s inauguration was Burkina Faso’s 36-year-old military leader Cpt. Ibrahim Traore who was greeted enthusiastically by Ghanaians as he went to the podium to meet the re-elected president.

The Special Guest of Honour for the ceremony was Nigeria’s president Bola Tinubu, who assured to work in hand with President John Dramani Mahama.
