Rains with thunderstorms have disrupted the December 7 general election in some parts of the Eastern region.
The rains which started about 30minutes to 5:00pm was full of heavy windstorms, making it impossible for some electorates to exercise their franchise.
The New Juaben north and south constituencies, Abuakwa north as well as part of the Akwapim North constituencies recorded a rainfall.
Meanwhile, those in cue before the rains are expected to be allowed to vote after the 5:00pm elapsed time as mandated in the electoral laws of Ghana.
