The Eastern Regional Minister, Mr. Eric Kwakye Darfour yesterday, joined the District Chief Executive for Kwahu South Hon. Emmanuel Attah Ofori Senior and the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon Seth Acheampong and some NPP constituency executives to commission three separate projects in the District.
The projects which were funded by District Assembly Common Fund were Teachers accommodation at Nkyenekyene Presby School, Three-Unit classroom block with toilets, Headmaster accommodation, staff common room and Computer room at Akwafour and Twenty market stalls at Mpreaso main market.
The Minister and his entourage later visited Green House (Ghana) Cassava Breeding Base, a Chinese company cultivating Cassava and processing them for export. The company which is operating at Pitiku and Nkyenekye area in the Kwahu South District has so far has cultivated over one thousand hectares of Cassava.
