There has been an accident involving a Hyundai Van with registration Number, GY 1118-13 and a Toyota RAV4 with registration Number, GE 2663-Z at Abense in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern region.
The said incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, 20th December 2019.
The Toyota RAV4, which was heading towards Kpong on the Odumase – Kpong highway, in an attempt to avoid a coming vehicle on his lane, run into the coming lane where it collided with the Hyundai Passenger Van, coming from Kpong, injuring several persons on board of the Hyundai Van.
The driver of the Toyota RAV4 had gone to pick his daughter from Krobo Girls SHS with his wife on board, with the daughter sustaining some minor degrees of injuries.
All the injured victims have been taken to the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya for emergency attention and care.
Police officers from the Odumase Police Command have taken over the accident scene to assist control the situation as investigations into the said incident has commenced.
