Pinamang Cosmetic a leading cosmetic brand in Ghana has won Best cosmetic brand of the Year at the 2nd Edition of Women’s Choice Awards Africa held on Saturday 17th October 2020 in Accra.
The Women’s Choice Awards Africa is an initiative produced by Global Ovations Limited aimed at honoring women and men who passionately advocate for the empowerment of girls and women, work to inspire, and help solve problems facing women and girls through creative solutions.
With many years of experience in selling cosmetics, Pinamang cosmetics, a UK-based Ghanaian own company decided to produce a range of skin products after identifying the African woman’s skin need for brighter, smoother, and healthy skin.
The journey started when the CEO gleaned from Africa the increasing menace of bleaching resulting in skin cancers among many African women due to the use of bleaching agents like hydroquinone by cosmetic giants, Pinamang Cosmetics decided to use fruit extracts, 100%pure oil, and anti-aging properties to produce harmless cosmetic products to help the African woman achieve greater skin health.
The high-quality cosmetic products tackle issues that many African women have such as dark Spots and Hyper-pigmentation.
In an interview with the media after the awards, the CEO of Pinamang Cosmetics – Pinamang Genfii, a UK based Ghanaian business women expressed gratitude to all her loyal customers, brand influencers, followers, and brand ambassadors in Ghana who believed in her vision.
She acknowledged that, although the journey has not been easy particularly producing quality non-bleaching products specifically for the African market taken into consideration the melanin of the African skin.

The CEO hinted that plans are far advanced to expand its frontiers by producing makeup lines, fragrances, deodorants, and clothing lines including handbags to meet the needs of Ghanaians.
She is motivated by the fact that she is creating jobs for Ghanaians while helping to improve healthy skin and hair among Ghanaians.
