Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanten has graced the opening of the 13th World Trade Promotion Organisations Conference & Awards ceremony in Accra.
In his speech, he urged leaders of developing nations to place a trade at the centre of their respective development agendas.
He further entreated the conference, made up of heads and senior representatives of Trade Promotion Organizations from across the world, to adopt innovative ways for the viability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as means of putting the huge youthful workforce on the continent into gainful employment.
Present at the event were the Executive Director of the International Trade Centre, Ms Pamela Coke-Hamilton, the Secretary-General of African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA), H. E. Wamkele Mene, the Chief Executive of Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Dr Afua Asabea Asare, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr Yofi Grant amongst others.
