A dramatic gun battle broke out at Gomoa Pomadze in the Gomoa central of the Central Region when suspected armed robbers attempted to break into Microfin Rural Bank in Pomadze.
Report gathered by Kweku Ademah revealed that, the robbers stormed the bank around 1am in the midnight overpowering and tying up four security officers on duty before breaking into the premises.
The robbers were reportedly preparing to loot cash when the police patrol team arrived at the scene.
