The Ghana Police Service have launched an intensive manhunt to apprehend a gang of robbers responsible for a brazen attack on a block factory at Appolonia City, a suburb of Oyibi, on October 14, 2023.
Tragically, the incident resulted in the loss of one life.
The gang, consisting of approximately five individuals, executed the robbery with alarming audacity.
In addition to their violent assault, they also made off with an unspecified sum of money and the mobile phones of the factory’s staff.
Following the tragedy, the body of the deceased victim was carefully transported to the Police Hospital morgue to undergo preservation and autopsy procedures.
Simultaneously, investigative and intelligence operations are actively underway to track down and apprehend the suspects, ensuring they face the full extent of the law.
A statement issued by the Ghana Police service stated that it is determined to bring these perpetrators to justice therefore assured the public, vowing to relentlessly pursue the culprits and hold them accountable for their actions.
As the investigation continue ,the community of Oyibi and the greater Accra region awaits justice, hoping for swift resolution and closure in the wake of this alarming incident.
The Police urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in their efforts to swiftly locate and apprehend the robbery suspects.
