Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Ghana’s political establishment has let its citizens down.
He asserts that the lack of vision among most of Ghana’s political leaders is the cause of the nation’s inability to resolve its problems.
In Jirapa, Upper West Region, Ken Agyapong urged NPP members that God must punish all political figures in Ghana because they had failed despite the nation’s richness.
“God must gather all the politicians in this country and lash all of us. Do you know why?
“I went to the Volta Region, Krachi and this community is by the Volta River, but they were complaining that they did not have water.
“You have the Volta here, but you will dig bole holes. What is wrong with us?” he said in Twi.
Agyapong, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, continued by saying that the absence of a vision of the nation’s political leadership contributes to the country being duped by outsiders.
Because he is the only person Ghanaians can trust, he urged the NPP delegates in Jirapa to choose him as their flagbearer.
He claimed to have the vision to restructure the country, and many disenchanted Ghanaians vowed to support him as the NPP’s presidential nominee.
