Outgoing Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Dr Benard Oko-Boye has advised the former President John Dramani Mahama to accept the results declared by the chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) Jean Mensa.
To him, Supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Presidential candidate need to use the proper channel rather than inciting his supporters to demonstrate on the streets to protest the election results announced by the EC.
Dr Benard Oko-Boye continued that Mr Mahama and his party supporters can’t use force and anger to win political power.
Dr Oko Boye made it clear on the New Day program that some members of his campaign team requested him to disagree with the results of the parliamentary election due to differences between him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate.
But presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama said he will not accept those results by the EC.
