A 34-year-old popular tomato loader has been crushed to death at the Nsawam stretch of the Accra to Kumasi Highway.
The 34-year-old Kwasi Mensah, affectionately called Asaa Stone was killed by a vehicle while offloading Tomatoes.
According to Mrs. Superintendent Marian Osei Adu, Nsawam District Police Commander, Police received a distress call around 3:00am yesterday. The Police Patrol team went to the scene and saw Kwasi Mensah dead.
The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the Nsawam Mortuary whilst Police continue to investigate circumstances leading to the crash.
Family members, wife, and young guys recruited in the tomatoes loading work as well as his customers are saddened by the incident.
