The current state of affairs in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern region as the ECG has taken power off the area since Wednesday 27th July, 2022 Friday afternoon when filing the report is becoming headache for residents.
The ECG has currently cut off power from Kpong to Somanya making livelihood difficult for residents and businesses.
Information according to Leyla Images suggest that charging phones in the area cost Ghc5 per smart phones and Ghc3 for ‘yam’ phones.
Business that operate with electricity power such as cold stores, sawmills, banks, and many others are also complaining the difficulties in securing generators to high, while those with generators also talk of fueling them.
