The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has come out with a new timetable for another load shedding exercise effective Thursday, May 27, 2021.
A statement on Thursday by the state power distributor indicated that it will occur in only peak hours from 6 pm to midnight for sixteen days
The power interruption is to pave way for the reconstruction of a section of GRIDCo’s 161KV at the Winneba to Mallam transmission lines and tie-in works.
But the latest planned power outages come a few days after a similar exercise by the ECG ended on Monday, May 17.
