Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged defeated parliamentary aspirant to preach the good works of President Akufo-Addo in order for Ghanaians not to go in for John Mahama and the NDC.
Dr. Bawumia made this comment when he inaugurated ‘Aspirants Unite for Nana’, a group of defeated parliamentary candidates who have come together to support the party ahead of the December polls.
He affirmed that Ghanaians will have the option of choosing between Akufo-Addo and the former president Mahama, a man he describes as ‘an incompetent leader without credibility’ hence the defeated parliamentary aspirant should stimulate the supporters at the grassroots level to ensure the party holds power.
According to the Vice President, victory will be the portion of the party because President Akufo-Addo government has delivered on most of its promises.
Dr. Bawumia however foresaw a gigantic win for the leading New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the impending presidential and parliamentary elections if only the party members keep announcing the good works of the President.
