A Zambian woman who was five months pregnant, has died after she was beaten, allegedly by her husband for refusing to eat her food when they came back from drinking at a bar.
Earlier, Lobina Nambeye, 37, of Katuba farming area, and her husband Davy Kaonga had gone to their field, after which they decided to go for a drink at one of the drinking spots.
Their son had accompanied them to the field but he was told to go home as they opted to go straight to the bar.
The police have instituted investigation into the matter.
