President Akufo-Addo has asked the former president and flagbearer of the NDC Mr John Dramani Mahama to stop deceiving Ghanaians and that the presidency can never be won by deceit.
According to Akufo-Addo, Mahama’s campaign carries no weight and for that matter thinks the only way to manoeuvre his way to the flagstaff house should be based on lies.
President Akufo-Addo preached to the supporters of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Akropong in the Eastern Region during one of his tours.
“The second term is going to see the construction of the house of growth, the house of wealth, the house of employment and progression in Ghana”. He said.
“We can never omit NPP if only we are talking about a plan for the development of the country so why do my people want an incapable government,” he quizzed.
Akufo-Addo, however, pressed the electorate to throw away any independent candidate contesting the current MP of Akropong Akuapem North, Nana Ama Dokua, who is also a Deputy Minister of Information.
