Nana Addo Akufo-Addo, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, has following the retirement from office of Major General William Ayambo, Chief of Army Staff, has appointed Major General Thomas Oppong-Peprah as new Chief of Army Staff.
He expected to take off on Tuesday 18yh February 2020, was done in consultation with the Council of State, as contained in an official statement from the Presidency.
