The Atiwa East and West districts of the Eastern region will soon boast of District hospitals very soon as a sod has been cut to start construction.
President Akufo-Addo as part of his 3-days tour to the region did the sod cutting to ensure the two districts have their fair share of quality health care after the Atiwa district was split about 3 years ago.
The President was optimistic the construction of the hospitals would help improve the health needs of people within the areas.
He pledged that the NPP led government would continue to provide quality health care to all Ghanaians as good health brings development.
The President and his entourage also visited the Anyinam-kwabeng to access the road construction project on that stretch of the road.
He, therefore, appealed to the people to extend the mandate of the Akufo-Addo led NPP to continue the many projects currently ongoing.
Meanwhile, the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu on his part, indicated that his outfit has initiated a policy to ensure all districts without a District hospital to give Ghanaians easy access to quality health care.
