The leader for risk Communication for COVID-19 National Response, Dr Da Costa Aboagye, has said that there has been great progress in the fight against the covid-19 due to the significant measure which was put in place to help curb the spread of the virus.
Though the restrictions are being eased, he said the case count has declined massively from around 3500 to about 2,458 active cases.
Adding that measures that were put in place by the government have helped make positive strive towards the fight against the pandemic.
He further asked Ghanaians to report to the hospital the moment they see the signs of the virus.
However, he added that since phase two of easing of restriction, Ghanaians should comply with all the safety protocol to help curb the spread of the pandemic in the country.
The country’s current confirmed COVID-19 cases is 41,003 including 2,458 active cases with 38,330 recoveries and discharges, with 215 deaths.
