The founder and leader of Perfect Faith Arena Baptist Church, Rev. Isaac Baffour Adjei, has expressed concerns over the government’s recent directive requiring prophets to channel their prophecies concerning the government and Ghana through Dr. Afriyie Ankrah’s office.
Rev. Adjei believes this move isn’t in the right direction, as some prophecies are specifically meant for individuals, not the general public or government.
According to Rev. Adjei, it’s time government officials made themselves available for private meetings with prophets, allowing for more direct and personalized communication.
He speculates that the president wouldn’t have considered this approach if not for the recent tragic plane crash.
The directive has sparked debate, with some religious groups and leaders weighing in on the role of prophecy in Ghanaian society.
Speaking in an interview with the media, Rev Isaac Baffour Adjei used the opportunity to advise prophets to desist from false prophecies.
Meanwhile a section of Ghanaians has revealed that, the office that, prophecies will be directed to is not necessary but rather create avenues that the prophet can reach out to them directly.
