The National Health Insurance Authority has donated boxes of protective nose masks, emergency trolleys, and ergonomic chairs to the LEKMA hospital in Accra.
The brief ceremony saw the CEO, Dr. Okoe Boye handing over the items to the Hospital to lessen the pressure on the few existing trolleys and chairs at their disposal.
This latest donation from the Authority is the second in recent times after similar donations were made to three other health facilities during the festive season.
The beneficiary facilities included the Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital), the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital ICU, and the Kaneshie Polyclinic.
