People of Kulmatis in the Pusiga District of the Upper East region are calling for rehabilitation of their collapse bridge that links the community to the district capital.
According to the residents of the Kulmatis community, the bridge has collapse for over a decades now but authorities seems not to attempt to work on it, making their living in the community very difficult.
Some residents who spoke with Bryt FM news how the collapse bridge has affected their farming business expecially during rainy season, as students can not go school, farmers can not also send their farm products to the market centres.
The Assembly member for area, Hon Emmanuel Azumah also added that the collapse of the bridge has affected the community economically because farmers can not send crops to the central market which is the district capital, Pusiga.
