The former Ashanti regional chairman for the Convention People’s Party, Mr A. S Osei Yaw, has blamed the rampant suicidal cases on the economic mismanagement by the NPP government.
Whilst addressing the press, he said the President must reduce the size of his government in order to cut the cost expenditure.
Mr Osei Yaw was very optimistic that the country can move forward and develop if the Nana Addo’s government offers attention to the calls of the citizenry and shun seeing critiques as cynics.
“The President is too arrogant. He should listen to what Ghanaians are saying, since the country is heading to ditch. He should avoid the-know- all behaviours and listen to his predecessors” he stated.
The renown politician cum media practitioner advised the youth to avoid relying on white colour jobs, believing there are other avenues to make meaningful living.
He added “Suicide is not a choice. I will urge the youth (graduates) to be innovative, they should avoid feeling smug and work diligently, since there are other rewarding entrances for a better future”.
