The District Chief Executive for Gomoa East in the Central Region Solomon Darko Quarm has hinted that the entire Buduburam refugee camp and ghettos around will soon be demolished as part of an effort to reduce crime in the area.
Solomon Darko Quarm said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has given the Assembly the greenlight for the exercise.
Buduburam Refugee camp has allegedly been a hideout for criminals.
Bryt Fm News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah has reported many times about the unnecessary killings and attacks on innocent people by criminals operating from the camp.
In an interview with Correspondent Eric Owusu Amposah, Gomoa DCE Solomon Darko Quarm called on the people leaving in the ghettos to begin parking out.
The DCE assured that the people of Gomoa East that all bad roads in Gomoa East will be constructed to boost the local economy
Meanwhile Chief of Gomoa Buduburam Nana Kojo Essel (ii) also commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and DCE for working hard to eliminate Buduburam Traffic Situation.
