Some constituents in New Juaben South Constituency of the Eastern Region have hailed their Member of Parliament Michael Okyere Baafi for the display of “martial arts skill” in protecting some individual NPP caucus members in Parliament during a maker which ensued Thursday dawn while electing Speaker of Parliament.
Mr. Okyere Baafi was captured in many videos and pictures by the media warding off attacks on some NPP Lawmakers.
One of such was when the MP for Tema West Carlos Ahenkorah was being pursued by some NDC MPs led by Muntaka Mubarak MP for Asawase after snatching ballot papers in the chamber.
Mr. Okyere Baafi hopped to the defense of Carlos Ahenkorah.
Flowing from that, some constituents in New Juaben South and some NPP regional executives of the NPP took to social media to commend Okyere Baafi for starting well in Parliament with show a dependable team member.
