The District Chief Executive DCE of the Tain District in the Bono Region, Hon Dr Lucy Acheampong , has urged the residents of Nsawka and its neighbouring communities within the Tain constituency to uphold the laws of the country by ensuring that wrongdoers are July reported to the authorities.
Speaking to newsmen during the commissioning and handing over of newly constructed Tain District Court to the Nsawka community, she emphasized that those who violate the law must not manhandled.
Instead, offenders should be referred to the police service, ensuring that cases are handled in accordance with the laws of the country so that justice can prevail.
She added that the construction of the courthouse has led to a reduction in criminal activities and other wrongdoing.
His Lordship, justice Gabriel Nene Kwao Mate-Teye, High Court Judge of in the Bono Region, admonished all who enter the courtroom being Lawyers, Magistrates, Clerks, or in any other capacity to uphold the values of justice.
Hon Justina Owusu Banahene, Bono Region Minister admonished the people of Nsawka to reaffirm their collective commitment to the principles of faimess, equity and integrity that form the foundation of our legal system.
