Following his Sanitation Outreach Tour on Monday, the Municipal Chief Executive for Akuapem North John Evans Kumordzi has moved swiftly to ensure immediate and concrete action.
On Tuesday, June 4, trucks and heavy-duty equipment have been deployed to begin clearing major refuse disposal sites in Akropong, Mamfe, and nearby communities.
This effort marks a significant step toward restoring cleanliness, dignity, and public health in our municipality.
According to the MCE, the initiative is not just about inspections but it is also about results-driven leadership and responsive governance.
“As the Akuapem North Municipal Chief Executive, I remain committed to building a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for all. Sanitation is a shared responsibility, and together, we can achieve lasting change” Hon Evans Kumordzi stated.
