Reggae/Dancehall act, Kojo Kurankye better known in showbiz as Ras Kuuku has jabbed Kumawood actors and actresses to focus on reviving the industry instead of diverting their careers.
Speaking on Accra-based Bryt TV with Yaa Yeboah, the 2021 VGMA Raggae Dancehall artist of the year is urging Kumawood stars to desist from joining the music game and rather concentrate on reviving the movie industry.
Kumawood stars such as Kwadwo Nkansah (Lil Win), Emelia Brobbey, Frank Naro and many others have joined the music game with the release of some songs enjoying air plays.
With Frank Naro, he has been accusing some stakeholders, including colleague stars in the movie industry of sabotage and involving in spiritual warfare, hence his decision to resort to the music industry since he has got the talent as well.
But the Puom President was of the view being a musician should not be just an instance but rather must be seen as a professional career and therefore advised movie actors to remain professional in their field despite the challenges.
Ras Kuuku, however, assured his fans of back-to-back hits yet to be released by his camp and appealed for dedicated support from the Ghanaian populace.
