The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has cautioned road transport operators to embrace data management in Africa.
Today, May 8, is observed as a West Africa Road Safety Organization (WARSO) day.
It is a day set aside by the Economic Community of West Africa State (ECOWAS) to promote road safety by heightening road safety improvement and challenges within the sub-region.
The theme for this year’s commemoration is ‘‘Improving Road Safety Data Management; a call to action’’
The National Road Safety Authority in a statement called all road safety actors, particularly road transport operator and transport managers to develop s culture of collation and analysis of relevant operational data to help improve the quality of their services
