Bofoakwa Tano captain Saaka Dauda has named Senegal international Sadio Mane as his idol.
In an interview, the in-demand striker disclosed he is modeling his game after Mane, who led Senegal to clinch their first Africa Cup of Nations title in 2021.
Mane, who currently plies his trade for Al Nasr in the Saudi Pro League is considered as one of the top players in world football.
“Sadio Mane is my idol. I have been modeling my game after him. He is very humble and respectful so I try to learn from him” he said.
Dauda racked up eight goals in the Ghana Premier League and also helped his outfit to reach the final of the FA Cup but unfortunately lost the trophy to Nsoatreman FC.
The forward has attracted several interest following his top performance in the recently concluded campaign.
