Sammi Awuku has finally spoken out about his desire to run for office in the legislature.
The National Lottery Authority (NLA) Director General had long kept his ambitions private, but on July 31, 2023, he spoke candidly about his desire to serve in parliament on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo.”
Sammi Awuku disclosed in a brief statement that when the New Patriotic Party opens up space for members who want to run in its parliamentary elections, he will choose a nomination form.
He announced to the host Kwami Sefa Kayi that he will run for the parliamentary seat in Akuapem North.
“When the party opens nominations, I’m clear in my mind that I will pick forms to contest,” he stated.
