Ghanaian rap icon, Michael Owusu Addo, best known as Sarkodie has announced a signing of a deal on his social media channels, stating he is now a member of the Sony Music Publishing UK family.
The Beatles, Beyonce, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey, Pharrell, Queen, Sade, and many more are among the world’s finest composers represented by Sony Music Publishing-UK.
The agreement comes only days after Sarkodie’s sixth studio album, No Pressure, was released to great acclaim which included artists such as Wale, Vic Mensa, Giggs, Oxlade, Medikal, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesi Arthur, and MoG Music.
“Officially part of the SMP Sony Music Publishing – United Kingdom family,” he captioned images of him signing the agreement with Sony Music Publishing-UK officials.
