A security consultant, Mr. Richard Kumadoe, has called for a comprehensive investigation into the alleged attempted assassination of the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Adjabeeng.
Speaking on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem, he emphasized the need to establish the facts and identify those behind the alleged plot.
According to Mr. Kumadoe, the swift response by the Minister of Interior is commendable, but the next crucial step is determining which agency will lead the investigation. He stated that although he cannot confirm, he believes the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) is likely to take up the matter.
He explained that investigators must first verify whether the attempted assassination indeed occurred and identify the individuals involved.
Mr. Kumadoe also referenced reports by journalist Sammy Darko, who claimed he was assaulted in connection with the incident.
He noted that Darko is expected to be invited to provide a formal statement, as he is a key witness due to his close relationship with Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng.
