The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has boldly said that the police and other security personnel’s under his jurisdiction are well equipped than the previews years.
During his presentation of the State Of The Nations Address (SONA), the president made known of equipment and cars which have been provided to the security service to which he believed will help them through their operation and other activities.
Outlining more plans in store for the security department, Nana Addo said; “Three helicopters are on the way coming to be given to the department to enable speed up the day-to-day activities especially in case of emergency in the country and the other world at large.
5,000 houses (barracks) would be built for the soldiers and police officers to make them fill comfortable during their services,” he indicated.
Ensuring the safety of the security personnel’s in their line of duties, the president assures putting measures in place to amend policies in the various security-training centres
