Serbian coach Goran Stevanovic seeks second Black Stars spell Serbian Stevanovic has applied for the vacant Black Stars coaching job, according to local media reports.
The Black Stars are without any substantive trainer following the sacking of Chris Hughton after poor Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The Ghana FA relieved off Hughton and the entire technical team of the national team following the team’s catastrophic AFCON campaign.
Ghana exited at group stage after failing to win any of their group games. they drew two and lost one, finishing third in Group B.
The FA are in search of a new tactician and has set February 2, 2024 as deadline day for submission of application by coaches.
The Serbian coach, who is aiming for a second spell is one of the coaches to have submitted their application.
The 57-year-old managed the Black Stars between 2011 and 2012.
He guided the team to the semifinals of the continental showpiece.
