The Member of Parliament for Shai-Osudoku Hon Linda Akweley Ocloo in collaboration with Qatar Charity in Ghana has commissioned an ultra-modern 2 -unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Ramah Town Fulani Community in the Constituency.
School-going age children in the developing Community were struggling to have access to education facilities hence trekked a long distance to nearby Communities to attend school.
The situation affected early childhood education in the community.
Commissioning the project, the MP Linda Akweley Ocloo encouraged parents to take advantage of the facility to enroll their children to benefit from early childhood education which is very critical in the holistic growth of children.
The MP commended Qatar Charity -Ghana for its immense contribution to the development of the Shai Osudoku.
She urged residents to exercise high maintenance culture.
A similar partnership between the MP and Qatar Charity last year led to the construction and commissioning of a Health Center facility to deliver quality healthcare services to residents of Ladowayo-Odumse and five other surrounding rural communities with a total population of over 7,000 inhabitants in Dodowa District.
Qatar Charity is a Doha-based International NGO working in Ghana to respond to humanitarian and development needs particularly in the areas of health, education, social protection, water, and sanitation.
