In response to the prolonged water crisis faced by the people of Ologotsowe, a mechanized borehole facility has been constructed and commissioned by the Member of Parliament for Shai Osudoku,Hon.Linda Akweley Obenewa Ocloo to provide a sustainable water source for the community.
During a brief ceremony to commission the project ,the MP said recognizing the critical importance of water in sustaining life, she engaged the TUDEC DEVELOPMENT CENTER to collaborate on the construction of the borehole.
The center offered wholehearted support for this initiative.
She was thankful to have been present in Ologotsowe to commission the newly constructed borehole for the people.
“On behalf of myself and the NDC party, we express gratitude to TUDEC DEVELOPMENT CENTER for their partnership and extend appreciation to everyone who contributed to the construction and commissioning of the borehole”
The successful commissioning marks a significant step toward addressing the water challenges that have burdened the community.
The chief, Nene Martey Agidi, and other opinion leaders provided assurances that they will ensure the borehole’s safety and proper maintenance, allowing it to serve its intended purpose effectively.
