The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has urged electorates at Ayensuano constituency to vote out their Member of Parliament over none-performance.
Addressing a mini-rally at Coalta Community, Mr. Ampofo wondered why Samuel Ayeh Paye who is Chairman of the road committee in Parliament yet his constituents continue to suffer as a result of deplorable roads.
He told the residents “your MP is the Chairman of the road committee in Parliament yet your roads are bad. He is incompetent .You should put in your pockets a red card to show the MP on December 7, 2020”.
Mr. Ampofo said the NDC created Ayensuano District, extended electricity to the district, and built schools with intention of constructing roads and build hospitals but left power promising to construct the deplorable roads to facilitate transportation of foodstuffs from the communities.
Mr. Ampofo said this Friday when the Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang visited the Coltar Community as she wraps up her five-day tour of the Eastern Region.
Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang said the NDC Manifesto is tailored to address the mirage of rural problems to improve the living standards of the people and boost agriculture.
Chief of Kraboa Coltar Barima Okekley Bese II declared support for the NDC Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama and the Parliamentary Candidate, Teddy Nana Yaw Addy. He justified that major developmental projects in the district were executed by the NDC therefore hopeful the next NDC government will construct roads in the community.
