Renowned Football Administrator and Director for Soccer Scouting Agency, Mr Akwowe Stephen goes mad on football administrators and coaches who sign family and friend’s players, which according to him will not bring completion among themselves.
According to him, some clubs in the Ghanaian top-flight league are facing financial struggles all because of the type of players they sign into the club.
He said most clubs sign players from family and friends instead of doing proper scouting for outstanding talents into their teams and it has gone a long way to affect the game in general.
“There is no competition among these players which is the results of their struggles and has gone down to affected the transfer value of our players nowadays”, he added.
Mr Akwowe Stephen has therefore urged the football fraternity to stop Signing Family And Friends Players in order to bring competition among them and attract sponsors.
“This is a plead to clubs to take this into consideration and start putting measures in place to make the work of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) work easier,” he said.
