The University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) in Somanya, Eastern Region, has held its 2nd Congregation, conferring degrees on 200 students.
The university currently offers 27 undergraduate programs across 9 departments and three postgraduate programs: MPhil Sustainable Aquaculture and Biotechnology, MPhil Environmental Restoration Studies, and MSc Environmental Restoration Studies.
UESD’s mandate focuses on providing higher education, conducting research, and disseminating knowledge in environment, agribusiness, and sustainable development, while fostering national and international collaborations.
The Regional Minister, Mrs. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, was among the dignitaries who graced the occasion.
