The Overlord of the Wala State,Wa Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV has bestowed a special honour upon the Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, a title that reflects the values and traditions of the great Wala State.
He was conferred the Dakagili Naa, which means the ‘Dependable Pond’- a symbol of reliability, strength and wisdom.
According to the Wa Naa,just as the Dakagili which is their sacred pond is also a source of life and a sustenance for the people of Wa, so too has the Speaker demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of our nation,Ghana.
